Oscar 2010!

So on March 7, 2010 Oscar is on hot and cold fashion. So without wasting any time, let's review the "OMG" and "Meh..."

Starting with Anna Kendrick. I have to say she is one of the best dresser on the red carpet. I mean, look at her smile and innocent cute face, I'm turning straight. And back to business, look at her dress. The fabric and peach color blend very well into her skin. It's like she's wearing nothing yet she is! I have to mention the detail on the lace adds a hint of sexiness and lady-like to the dress and to the wearer as well. I know she's not happy with her dress that evening and some say it's a disaster but I think it looks favulous! One last word for her, Glowing! 4.5 Thumbs Up!

Then we have Vera Farmiga in her Marquesa. I think she looks like a woman in a flower. I'm glad the fact that the designer choose shiny fabric to construct the ruffles and thank God it's not excessive. I know that some people love ruffles so much that they put it everywhere, but I guess for this kind of function, this suits pretty well. The intensity of the ruffles just fine. Oh also I want to point that her lipstick matches the dress. 4.3 Thumbs Up.

Let's move on with the EUWs! First, Jennifer Lopez. Okay, what's she wearing? Wait let me guess, bubble wrap? It seems Giorgio Armani has turn green! Recycle what you can but not bubble wrap. It's for people to release their stress. I bet J-Lo will pop all the bubbles after she heard all the critics on her wardrobe disaster. Never wear bubble wrap to Oscar, how many times I told you. It won't make you sexy but like a tv in a box with the bubble wrap of course. Note: I guess she's trying to be couture and she's sharing the same fate as Amanda Seyfried. 1.4 Thumbs Up

Next is Sigourney Weaver and yes I don't know her. But I hate her dress for sure. For the record, a one shoulder greek-goddess style is so out of style nowadays. I mean, I've seen enough so stop it! I don't care it's from Lanvin, just throw it and let a dog wear it! Really.... 2.6 Thumbs Up

Yellow and Spring

Yes Yes I can feel the warmth of Spring already. And because of that I think it's a perfect time to introduce something light and by that i mean a hint of neon and stays slim.

Forever 21 at ShopStyle

Hurm for some reasons, this is nerdy. I mean, with the glasses and the bag? No worries folks because the color will save you from on the 'Euw' fashion throne. Look at the mustard-y yellow bag and frame glasses. How can it not pop out from the entire look? I mean seriously, I am a trend setter. Hahaha I'm kidding! But really.

Black never dies!

Black never dies, yes you heard me right. Okay I know I'm pretty much behind the news but I still think black is sexy, but sometimes overrated. Anyway take a look at this look!

Express at ShopStyle

Ohhhhhh this is so perfect. Escaping from generic elegant black dress, this look features some 'blackness' or should I say, 'emo-ness,' I don't know if that's even a word. Anyway.... the emo hair-d0 and a hint of purple handkerchief (a hit in 2009) make the look an awesome-ness!

Pink-ness

Valentine is over but that's not an excuse to not to wear pink!

Express at ShopStyle

I think this is a look which modern metrosexual would love to wear. A hint of pink v-neck sweater under the jacket makes you a little sexy yet daring!

Weekend; in and out of town

Here's another update on my lookbook at shopstyle.com. This time it's gonna be white and pure!

Calvin Klein at ShopStyle

Though I sincerely have never tried matching trench and high-tops (I did actually and it was a disaster!), it looks quite nice, at least in this picture. Yes yes I know that Burberry trench is awesomest bla bla bla. But I have to say adding some vintage touch on it, especially on the tote/weekender looks quite good with the total outfit. Hell yes it blends quite well with the gold details on the shoes. Totally to restaurants!

Now let's go a bit military and by that I mean studs and metals. But I'm not going to show any of those here, now, but this.

Lacoste at ShopStyle

Okay..... I have to admit that I am the person who sometimes try to match the same color at all attire! Like seriously one day I wear all navy and yes I look like a pool of sea with dead fish. Anyway moving on with our business...... I guess this look is very relax and individualist. It shows the 'wild' side of yours, mine at least. I wouldn't mind wearing this to beach!

Look Spring is coming!

I know I know it's been awhile since the last time I update on this blog. Well forgive me Mr all my 4 blogs are desparate for my attention but this blog is the first. Anyway let me update you with some looks I created on shopstyle.com

Although the winter is ending and spring is coming, trench can never go out of style.

Paper Denim & Cloth at ShopStyle

Who can deny the awesome-ness of Burberry's trench coats? Ohhh I only I can have one of those. Moving on, rather wearing a regular flat front pants with trench, I think it's kinda fun to twist it around with with skinny jeans from Paper Denim & Cloth. However, to keep it classic, still, a pointed lace up shoes and cardigan and suitcase is a must. Also a modern sunglasses will add a sense of glam on this look. Werq Werrq!

For those who want to escape from typical classy winter look, you may wanna try this.

Armani Exchange at ShopStyle

In this look, it's all about colors. Red and purple will stand out from the gray outfit. I can say that if you match the bag, belt, and shoes with any dull outfit, u'll pop from the crowd.
